Definition
Premature Ejaculation (PE) is ejaculation that takes place earlier than the man wishes, or too fast so as to satisfy the couple during a sexual relation.
Premature Ejaculation (PE) can be divided into 4 types.
Type 1 PE
is very common in adolescents and in young adults that began having sex later than the average. It is the mildest type of PE and is usually produced by anxiety, fear, feelings of guilt that may arise in early relationships, or inadequate masturbation practices. Type 1 PE is the easiest to treat.
Type 2 PE
is very common in adults, particularly between the ages of 20 and 45 years old. Type 2 PE often appears without warning, and is caused by increased stress levels, pressure situations, and excessive daily demands. This type of PE, again, is relatively easy to treat.
Type 3 PE
is not very common and is relatively serious. It is usually produced from an untreated Type 2 PE. Severe cases of depression can sometimes lead to Type 3 PE. Despite the severity of Type 3 PE, it is still treatable, although it may take more time and effort on the part of the patient.
Type 4 PE
is the most severe type of PE, it normally stems from Type 3 PE, and it constitutes a health risk. Type 4 PE can lead to difficulties gaining and maintaining an erection, and it can occasionally lead to total sexual dysfunction. Type 4 PE can sometimes lead to psychological illnesses such as depression. This type of PE is also treatable, but due to the severity and urgency of the situation we would recommend you arrange a visit with a psychologist or sex therapist.
Causes
There are two types of premature ejaculation, primary and secondary. Primary PE applies to those individuals who have had the condition since they became sexually active. Secondary PE applies to those individuals who previously had a level of ejaculatory control, but for whatever reason began experiencing PE in later life.
Where PE appears in later adulthood after an otherwise healthy sex-life, PE is usually triggered by environmental factors. Troubles and stresses produced by everyday pressures can manifest themselves during sexual intercourse.
These stressors can trigger a series of changes in the chemistry of the brain. Such changes can put the entire body in anxiety mode. When this happens, the body is affected in negative ways. Sexually, stress will cause a decreased enjoyment of pleasure, an increased sensitivity to pain and stimulus, occasional impotence, and frequent occurrences of PE.
Treatment
Treatment Changing Patterns
Premature Ejaculation (PE) is a learned response and like any constantly repeated action, overtime it becomes an established pattern of behaviour. The Supplemax “Winning is Coming Second” Program endeavours to replace this pattern of behaviour with a new one.
Combining a supervised medical program with acknowledged exercise methods, we aim to slow things down, and keep them slow, over a period of time, to create and maintain a new behavioural response. It is a holistic approach aimed to successfully cure premature ejaculation permanently.
Managed properly, within 6 to 9 months you may cease use of the medication, and enjoy a fulfilling and sustained sex life with your partner.
